TESOL Endorsement Program at KU
The TESOL program prepares individuals for employment as TESOL teachers, as well as enhancing the skills of teachers in regular classrooms. Courses address language acquisition, developing an intercultural awareness, diagnosis and remediation of second language learners, and curriculum and instruction for second language students. Courses in this program are cross-listed and may be taken at the undergraduate or graduate level. Graduate level classes may be used to fulfill requirements for a Master of Science in Education (M.S.E.) or a Master of Arts (M.A.), Education degree.

- Nationally-accredited Program - The KU School of Education is accredited under the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) Standards through the CAEP Accreditation System.
